English summary: Jesus Christ is at the center of Christian faith. Therefore, theology as a whole is determined by christology and can be unfolded from this starting point. For the Old Church, as well as for Martin Luther, the confession of the Divine dignity of Christ was of all-dominant importance. One of the aims of this book is to prove that this confession is based on the testimony of Christ in the New Testament and is not distorting the latter in any way. The studies compiled in this book are dealing with central questions and topics of Faith. They combine scholarly Bible interpretation with an effort to theologically reflect and argue for the Gospel's claim to truth. They want to stimulate the dialogue between exegetics and systematic theology, and at the same time be relevant and helpful to churchly proclamation.
